Hello and welcome back to The Extravagant! Welcome to blogmas day . . . 11? Excuse my little break I took; I didn't have any pre-made posts left and I was busy with my orchestra concert.
Back to the topic at hand, today we are going to be talking about the Classic fashion persona. If you read the post of day 4, you have already taken the persona quiz (if not, it's linked right here). However, a quiz can only tell you so much. So I'm going to dedicate one post to each persona to explain them the best I can. We're starting with the Classic!
You may be a Classic if:
you never want to be overdressed or underdressed
you like tailored pieces without much detail
torn jeans are not your favorite
dainty jewelry > bold jewelry
you need your outfits to match
you are proud to be conservative and traditional
you have school spirit
you love to shop at Hollister
you would never wear something from a runway; those clothes are not for real people
you are a high self monitor
you feel most confident in unquestionably appropriate clothing
you aren't a shop-till-you-drop girl
you want to make a good impression, but don't need to be getting compliments
you never liked bright/dark makeup
you have a signature look
you shop at long-standing brands
Classic people you may know:
Kate Middleton
Audrey Hepburn
Taylor Swift
Anne Hathaway
Matilda Djerf
Tips for Classics:
Buy bottoms in solid colors to get the most out of your closet.
Buy basic items in multiple colors if you find a piece you love.
Always make sure you have a white tee and black turtleneck ready to wear.
Try to stick to a color palette when shopping. It will be easier to mix and match pieces.
Before buying an item of clothing, try to imagine 3 outfits you can make with it without repeating other pieces in the outfits.
If matching is important to you, then invest in matching sets
Sometimes, you can feel like you're wearing the same thing everyday. Don't be afraid to change it up and pair things you normally wouldn't together.
Don't buy on impulse or because someone else says to. it will be a waste of money.
Update your wardrobe with accessories. you can add bags, sunglasses, jewelry, belts, socks, shoes, shoe accessories, legwarmers, arm-warmers, hats, gloves, etc.
If you want to get into the world of pattern mixing, choose the same pattern in the same color, but different sizes. For example, you can wear a large plaid coat and small plaid pants.

When/where do you dress like a Classic? (eg. school, to see family)
What are some pieces you own that a Classic would love?

So, that's it for today! The Natural should be coming up next, so stay tuned. Make sure to like, comment, subscribe, and spread the word. It would help a lot if you could check out my Pinterest because it helps the algorithm push it out to more people. I plan to post there more, so you don't want to miss out. Love you and see you soon!
Awesome! I am a classic dresser too , though I don’t have all those outfits mentioned in the post.
