It's that time of year again; you sit down to eat and suddenly everybody is asking you about your goals. Usually, my goals are in three categories; health, academics, and fun. This year, I decided to mix it up and add a new category- fashion. I'll share my three fashion goals for 2021, hopefully the year that everything goes back to normal.
1. Ditch the rules
For the longest time, I thought that there were fashion rules. Like in order to be considered fashionable, you need to be wearing the latest trends from stores like Zara, H&M, and Target. You should say be yourself, but actually not be. You should be stylish, but not too much that you stand out from the crowd. But the thing is, none of those are true. So, I decided that instead of following my classmates, I'll follow my favorite blogs, youtubers, and Pinterest accounts (by the way go follow me on Pinterest- it's @The Extravagant). It might seem more confusing, but I think it is a better step forward.
2. Save up
Since I am now starting to purchase clothes that aren't essential, I started to pay for some clothes. So, I earn money by doing chores and spend them on clothes. But sometimes, I don't have enough money to buy a piece. Hence, my next goal is to save up so I can buy things pretty easily.
3. Creating
Last but not least, my last goal is to create. I want to regularly make new clothes. Every piece I make will be trendy and custom made to fit me. So get ready for some tutorials! Similarly, I want to improve my sewing skills and learn how to use a sewing machine.
Awesome blog as always Medha. Waiting to see your creative pieces
