These last couple years have been all about millennial pink. But now, pastel colors have been all over the runway. Specifically, purple. The royal color is now taking form of the light, powdery, lavenders and lilacs. Lilac is one of my favorite colors so I'm so excited that we'll be able to wear it all the time. I'll give you everything you need to know about styling this graceful color.
Suit
You can sport this shade with a lavender suit. It's the perfect way to add a splash of playfulness to a otherwise professional outfit.
Floral print
This small floral print makes it perfect for spring.
Monochrome
Monochrome + The latest color trend = The coolest outfit ever!
Green-gray
I love the combination of millennial purple and greenish-gray, it's just a match made in heaven.
Daring silhouettes
If you want an eye-catching outfit, a bold silhouette will never let you down.
Color blocking
Color blocking is one of my favorite thing to try with a new color. And if you want to try it out, a tip is to wear complementary colors. They work together beautifully.
Neutrals
Worried lavender doesn't match your wardrobe? You can go with a pair of trousers in a muted shade and pair it with nude colors.
Accessories
If you aren't that sure about the trend, you can style some accessories.
Other than millennial purple, colors like bubblegum pink, baby blue, and pastel yellow will be in for the spring. Additionally, this year year will take some inspiration from the 60's. It will bring back colors like scarlet, tangerine, and cobalt blue.
Anyways, I hope this helped you master how to wear millennial purple. I love the royal purples and violets in general, but this trend is much more wearable. Also, make sure to check out my Pinterest, @The Extravagant, for more color trends!
