We still have a bit to go until we reach spring, but I just can't wait. So I decided to share the patterns spring 2021.
1. Checker print
This is really taking off everywhere. You can go full on racing flag or something more subtle.
2. "Tacky" florals
Florals for spring might not be groundbreaking, but this new version is. The 60's inspired take on this classic includes large floral motifs in bright colors.
3. Patchwork
This might be less of a pattern and more of a style, but I had to mention it. Pieces that look like they were reconstructed could be pulled from the 70's or today's it girls. (It also could be paired with the exposed seam trend.)
4. Psychedelic prints
No doubt, 2021 is taking a lot of inspiration from the 60's and 70's. Another element it snatched were these fun prints.
5. Bright stripes
Stripes have always been hard to style without looking like a robber from a cartoon. But, worry no longer! If you'll wear stripes, you'll own them.
6. Zebra print
This one will definitely be less in-your-face-obvious as the others but it's there. It's the 2021 alternative to cheetah print.
7. Crochet
This is again, less of a pattern, but it has been really major in fashion. It ties is nicely with the "new hobbies from the pandemic" and also the handmade style.
